Finance Minister Conor Murphy is encouraging companies that have not yet taken the opportunity to apply for the Omicron hospitality payment to do so before the program closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday March 4.
To date, £34.1 million has been issued to 2,731 businesses through the Department of Finance’s Omicron hospitality payment.
Under the scheme, hotels, restaurants, cafes, cafes, bistros, snack bars, nightclubs, pubs and social clubs are eligible for a one-time grant of £10,000, £15,000 or £20,000 depending on their assessed value. Sports clubs with a licensed bar or restaurant and soft play venues, trampoline parks and bouncy parks with a cafe on their premises are also eligible for a one-time payment of £10,000.

“My department has provided £34.1m of support to over 2,700 businesses. We believe that around 450 companies that may be eligible for funding have not yet applied. I want to make sure that no eligible business misses out on this grant and would apply for it – don’t delay, apply today. »
New hotel start-ups or those who have not yet applied for the Localized Restrictions Support Scheme can also apply.
