Zwipe Partners for Faster Deployment of Biometric Payment Cards in the Middle East and Africa

Zwipe has partnered with Abu Dhabi-based NymCard to launch biometric payment cards in the Middle East and Africa.

The collaboration will accelerate the deployment of biometric payment cards in the region, according to the announcement.

NymCard focuses on smooth, transparent and agile card issuance and payment processing services through a bank-as-a-service model. The company uses modern APIs and technologies to make particularly fast implementations, Zwipe explains. NymCard’s customers include the gig economy, buy it now, pay later, youth banking, and corporate spending card providers in the MEA region, and the company is expanding in Asia and Asia. Europe.

Under the agreement, Zwipe will provide marketing support, expertise and technical advice for NymCard’s integration of Zwipe Pay ONE biometric technology into cards that will be manufactured by Zwipe Certified Partners in the region. The new partners will start working on joint issuer agreements this month.
